Warranty and Safety Standards

FREEJUMP helmets are certified to meet demanding safety standards, including the European EN 1384:2023 standard and the American ASTM F1163-23 standard.

They are covered by the European legal guarantee of conformity for a minimum period of 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty covers, in particular, any manufacturing defects.

If your FREEJUMP helmet is damaged, it can be sent to FREEJUMP SYSTEM for inspection to determine whether it is damaged, repairable and safe to reuse, in accordance with the applicable safety standards.

Has your helmet sustained an impact?

The EN 1384:2023 standard specifies that a helmet that has sustained an impact must be replaced. A helmet is designed to absorb part of the energy generated by an impact, notably through the deformation or deterioration of its protective components. As this damage may not be visible, a helmet that has sustained an impact must not be reused.

If the Damage Is Not Related to a Fall

Several solutions may be offered:

  • Helmet safety inspection: €59, or free of charge if the purchase of your helmet was previously registered on freejumpsystem.com;
  • Repair of damaged parts, according to our After-Sales Service price list, provided that the parts concerned are replaceable and the damage is not covered by the warranty;
  • Repair or replacement of parts free of charge if a product defect covered by the legal warranty is confirmed.

Important: the EPS (inner protective shell) and the outer shell cannot be replaced. If either of these components is damaged and needs to be replaced, the helmet cannot be repaired.

No changes to the helmet configuration or additional customization can be carried out as part of an After-Sales Service request.
