Materials and construction
The shell of the JOCKEY SKULL is made from high-quality thermoplastic polymer to deliver exceptional impact resistance.
In-molding consists of a polycarbonate sheet directly overmolded onto the inner shell, creating an additional protective barrier between the outer shell and the EPS foam.
For the inner shell, the combination of the high-quality ABS thermoplastic outer shell and in-molding technology allows the use of low-density EPS foam, which is particularly effective at absorbing shocks.
Temporal protection
The JOCKEY SKULL benefits from the temporal protection developed by FREEJUMP, reducing the risk of concussion in the most fragile area of the skull. This innovative protection disperses the shock wave over a larger surface and helps to limit serious injuries related to trauma of the middle meningeal artery.
Ventilation
The JOCKEY SKULL offers discreet and functional ventilation with three strategically placed vents: one at the front to capture air, two at the rear to release it. This system ensures effective thermal regulation while preserving a sleek design.
The interior lining is equipped at the front with an ABS half-moon (clipped to the front edge of the inner shell) featuring two openings to direct airflow as it enters the helmet.
Safety and Comfort
An integrated rib between the upper part of the inner shell and the lower temporal part reinforces the structure and provides crush resistance far above standards.
The JOCKEY SKULL helmet is certified according to EN 1384-2023 and ASTM F1163-23 standards.
The interior lining is made from high-quality Italian fabric to maximize comfort, breathability, and head support. It is removable and washable (30 °C wash, air dry) to ensure comfort and hygiene.
The JOCKEY SKULL is extremely lightweight for unmatched comfort (+/- 600 g).
The JOCKEY SKULL is available in three shell sizes: S, M, and L. The interior lining is available in a wide range of sizes, from 52 cm to 62 cm.
