The comfort of a two-in-one body protector.
The X'AIR SAFE body protector reduces weight by 20% compared with the combination of a cross-country body protector and an airbag. What's more, the X'AIR SAFE cartridge is half the size of a standard airbag body protector. Side elastic bands ensure a perfect fit, offering the protection of two waistcoats combined, with lightness and comfort.
A highly technical body protector.
X'AIR SAFE is made from top-quality technical materials. The outer fabric, made from military-grade Cordura, guarantees maximum resistance to abrasion, tearing and UV rays. The 3D Mesh inner fabric ensures comfort and breathability, while the inner lining, made up of two high-tech foams, offers added safety and comfort. The dense outer foam distributes impact optimally, while the inner rubber foam, also used in bullet-proof waistcoats, absorbs shock for optimum comfort.
The inserts and foams are laser-cut for maximum precision, and the assembly of the foam compartments is automated to guarantee 100% repeatability.

A customised fit.
The X'AIR SAFE is available in children's sizes S, M and L, and adult sizes XXS to XL, with two options for sizes XS to L: regular or long (indicated by a "T" in the size) to offer a perfect fit, even for tall people. For example, the long version of size XS is called XST. From size XXS upwards, X'AIR SAFE is suitable for people at least 1.45 m tall and weighing at least 35 kg.
The X'AIR SAFE is equipped with an ultra-fast gas generator and a patented lanyard for total safety. The full inflation speed is 89 metres per second for size M, guaranteeing reliable use whatever the height of the horse. Assembled in France, in the FREEJUMP workshops, the X'AIR SAFE guarantees superior quality.
The X’AIR SAFE complies with three major safety standards: the NF S72-800-2022 standard for airbags, the European EN 13158 certification (level 3) for body protectors, and the British BETA 2018 certification (level 3) for optimal protection.
The X'AIR SAFE gas generator is the most powerful on the market, being the smallest and lightest. Rearming is simplified by a guide in the plug when unscrewing and by the fact that the plug cannot be lost when screwing back in. The ball-holding clip makes it easy and safe to replace the ball lanyard. Learn more
X'AIR SAFE uses cartridges available in five capacities: 16g for children's sizes S and M, 18g for children's size L and sizes XXS to XST, 20g for size S, 24g for sizes ST and M, and 33g for sizes MT to XL. It is vital to use only new X'AIR SAFE cartridges of the same volume to ensure optimum safety.
