In an exceptional setting, the Games began with a silver medal for the French eventing team, featuring Nicolas Touzaint, Karim Laghouag, and Stéphane Landois, all equipped with Freejump stirrups and X'Air Safe protective vests. Stéphane Landois also wore the Voronoï helmet across all three disciplines.
Michael Jung achieved a historic victory by securing individual gold for the third time with Chipmunk, equipped with Soft'up Pro+ stirrups and Liberty One+ boots.
In show jumping, France claimed the bronze thanks to Simon Delestre, Julien Epaillard, and Olivier Perreau, all equipped with Freejump stirrups, with Olivier Perreau also wearing the Voronoï helmet, just like Stéphane Landois.
Christian Kukuk brilliantly won the individual gold, equipped with Soft’Up Pro+ stirrups, along with the other riders from the Beerbaum stable.
In dressage, a new discipline for us, several riders were equipped with our products, which encourages us to continue our efforts. We are confident that our new Air Pure stirrup, soon to be unveiled, will be perfectly suited to this new world for us.
With 46.7% of the finalists equipped with Freejump stirrups, this competition has been an incredible sequence for us, recognized by everyone as a total success. We are proud to have contributed to this achievement.
High-level sports also come with their share of setbacks. The slight downturn of Vicking de la Rousserie prevented Kevin from defending his team’s chances, and he sportingly withdrew his horse from the individual competition in favor of Olivier Perreau.
Martin Fuchs performed the extraordinary feat of finishing the final with only one stirrup, making just one fault on the last obstacle. We are already working on a custom solution to secure his stirrups against the stratospheric jumps of Leon Jei.
We also share the disappointment of those who narrowly missed the final, as well as that of Henrik von Eckermann, whose exemplary reaction is a model of humility.
In homage to our region of origin, an obstacle representing the Dune du Pilat was included in the course. This obstacle will soon join our new offices at the Hippodrome de Bordeaux Le Bouscat. We promise that you will have the opportunity to jump it during future editions of the Freejump Contest!
Thank you all for your trust in our products. Next stop: Los Angeles, with the opening of a new subsidiary in the United States by the end of the year, to be even stronger in four years!
